This year’s ABC Best Books for Children Catalog, available in PDF format here, features more than 200 titles. The catalog is also installed and ready to go on IndieCommerce websites. |
Booksellers are invited to 11 ABA Spring Forum programs being held across the country between Friday, March 15, and Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Each includes the education session “The Top 10 Things You Must Do Now!” and an open forum discussion on industry issues. >DETAILS
ABA member booksellers are eligible to receive complimentary badges for entrance to this year's trade show. To receive free badges, ABA members should register via the BEA trade show site. Bookstores participating in this spring’s Celebrate Moms With Indies promotion must place their orders with publishers by May 1. For the Dads and Grads promotions, titles must be ordered by June 3. Booksellers can choose from lists of adult and children’s frontlist and backlist titles that were compiled with independent booksellers’ input. A link to an electronic ballot to elect ABA officers and directors was sent to all Regular main store members on Friday, April 29. Ballots must be cast by midnight on April 30 to be counted. Booksellers with questions about the 2013 elections are encouraged to contact ABA Membership and Marketing Officer Meg Smith. ABA's E-Fairness Action Kit (E-FACT) provides booksellers nationwide with crucial, state-specific tools to help them in their e-fairness outreach efforts. |
